Isla Cortés is located on the coast of Sinaloa, in the Sea of Cortés, facing the Baja California Sur peninsula almost directly across from Los Cabos.

At less than an hour by four lane divided highway, it has the support of the City of Culiacán, Sinaloa’s state Capital, with a population of over 1 million people and all of the necessary infrastructure and services required to support a international development of the magnatitude of Isla Cortes including an International Airport, Hospitals, Hotels, Shopping Centers, Museums, Theatres and Universities.

Sinaloa’s economy is diverse with agriculture and fishing activities playing an important role. The state has three international airports in the cities of Los Mochis, Culiacán, and Mazatlán.
